Track Release // Keratin - Fröst //

After huge success with their debut track Crackling on the Wire, with backing from the likes of Annie Mac and John Kennedy, the electro-pop duo Fröst are back with their brand new track Keratin for you to dive into.

Fröst combines the alluring vocals of Franco-Swedish artist Johanna Bramli and the intriguing synths of producer Steve Lewis, for an exciting blend of musical backgrounds that is sonically hypnotic. Keratin, showcases the cinematic sounds reminiscent of the 80s synth wave with haunting vocals and enigmatic hooks which carry the song on a mysterious journey of dreamy pop wonder.

What Fröst do incredibly well is intertwine layers of unique melodies, which when heard in such a clever body of work such as Keratin, places them miles ahead of any other electronic act on the scene. The track is as infectious as any good pop song, yet what the duo have succeeded in doing is providing an ambient soundscape which entices you in again and again, hearing something new with every listen.

Speaking on the track Fröst said: "Keratin takes us through a journey of sensations from the surface of our skin into the depth of our bones", a curious message to interpret into a song, yet when played again with that in mind provides a whole new fascination with the track and leaves you with a more intimate connection to the song.

It's undeniable that Fröst are set for huge things, and which their debut EP set for release this May, you'll want to keep your eyes on this exciting duo for the huge tracks they're bound to stun you with next.
