Track of the Week // Pale Waves- There's a Honey //

This week's Track of the Week comes from the newest signing to Dirty Hit, the label that doesn't stop churning out successes with the likes of The 1975, Wolf Alice, The Japanese House and Superfood to name a few.

Pale Waves are the Mancunian four-piece you'll have on repeat with their hypnotically catchy indie-pop tune There's a Honey which has just been released as their debut single. It's no surprise that this track is set to be a hit thanks to the hit-making skills of Matty and George from The 1975 who produced the single, but it's fair to say this track is huge due to the talent of these young musicians.

The sweet falsetto of lead-singer Heather, feel-good percussion from Ciara and punchy pop riffs from guitarist Hugo and bassist Charles, mix for the perfect indie-pop recipe. Reverb and synths are heavy on this track complimented perfectly by the lyricism on confused love, it's a tune that is simple in it's meaning whilst being deftly-produced making for a ridiculously good euphoric pop song.

Check out There's a Honey below and be sure to catch the band on their upcoming tour with Superfood here.
